Westgate Residential Care Home in West Bromwich will disappear down a rabbit hole when it hosts a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party in aid of Macmillan cancer support
The specialist care home for adults with learning difficulties, mental health conditions and physical disabilities will throw open its doors to welcome all of the West Bromwich hatophiles on Saturday 28 September 12-3pm.
Munish Kumar, manager of Westgate, said: “We call ourselves the ‘Westgaters’ and we encourage the local community to get involved, have some fun and help us raise money for Macmillan cancer support.
“We urge everyone to wear a hat, the madder the better! A prize will be awarded for the best hat.”
The event will include an afternoon tea party, raffles, tombola, games and more. The entrance fee for an adult is £2.00 and children can join in for free
Martyn Heginbotham, managing director (south) of Pathways Care Group, part of Salutem Healthcare, said: “Macmillan cancer support is a great cause and we hope the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party raises lots of money and a good time is had by all.”
“At Salutem Healthcare, we’re committed, not just to providing high quality care, but to running facilities which are integral to the local community.”
NOTE: Please use pay and display car park in Edward Street, a short distance from the home, due to restricted parking on the street.
"We urge everyone to wear a hat, the madder the better!"
Munish Kumar, manager of Westgate
